It has been on my list to visit for a while, since Tom was voted one to watch, and he certainly delivered. His passion and vision are contagious, with his cheeky chappy personality. He’s young and grinding hard and bringing this restaurant into a new era and will for certain fly very high here and beyond. A very good Beef Tartar, with radish, oxtail jelly, beef fat yolk, yesterday’s bread, still didn’t knock Trinity’s off my top spot. The signature dish of Lobster Thermidor was very good, the pastry especially was excellent. 

The Dessert bar was very Pollen Street Social- especially with the guess the ingredients dish presented as you sit- reminded me of the ice cream game PSS did on my visit many moons ago, and I’m sure is a nod in their direction.
