We have interviewed Phil Howard before, and I had been looking forward to a visit here especially being in my own neighbourhood as it were.
I personally found it a tad dated and very ‘safe’. There was one dish that was truly excellent, this was the pasta. Hand cut strozzapreti with black truffles, butter and aged parmesan. Pure indulgence, and so good that my dining companion, asked for another plate.
Everything else was just good, a little underwhelmed. A nice meal.
