Finally, to make it here at long last, I can’t quite believe it’s taken me such a long time, but it just not happened until now.
Very happy to finally come and visit Matt, who we have interviewed before too. He has taken the reins here as chef patron for Gordon and is doing him proud. Everything was simply flawless.
My favourite dishes being the Ravioli with lobster, langoustine, salmon, sorrel sauce- gosh I adore sorrel. An outstanding Turbot, celeriac, hazelnut, jus gras and some beautifully cooked, Cumbrian Blue Grey beef with leek, pickled alliums and black garlic. Cannot wait to return, it’s the ultimate place to come for date night.
